Life

 Life can get tough, 
 And make you forget your laugh. 
 Days can get bad and worse, 
 And make you feel cursed. 
 When troubles make you their prey, 
 To give up is all you pray. 
 But there is good waiting too, 
 So you can smile like everyone else too. 
 Life gives you sadness, 
 to reveal the worth of happiness; 
 Gives way to someone’s absence, 
 to show the value of their presence; 
 Takes you down and makes you cry, 
 So that you learn to get up and never forget to try.
