Everyone’s addicted to something; 
Yes, that’s true.
Some are addicted to fire, 
But wait — only a few.

We all know the Shopaholics, 
Who practically live in shops.
If it’s about discount, 
Trust me, they’ll never stop.

We’ve all know Mr Gessler — 
The Workaholic.
Only interfere with his work,
If you want a humongous kick.

If an alcoholic sets an alarm, 
He’ll surely choose to snooze.
During the lockdown, 
They formed a mile-long queue for booze.

These addictions are from the past; 
Here’s something from the present:
People posting what they watched on Netflix —
You’ve guessed it, it’s the Instaholics.

-aholic is a suffix, not a word; please mind it.
If there’s one thing everyone should be addicted to,
It’s staying happy, healthy and fit.
